HISTORY
Dick, together with his trusty bitch, Ho'bot,
and Richie, the Enforcer,
decided to take a stab at the music biz after
talking to a musician friend. Dick couldn't believe
the phat percentages record companies skim off
their talent. He thought to his pimp-self:
"Hell, I'll only take half what 'dem industry bitches take,
and I'll undercut those crooks by 10 fold".
Lacking only in math skills, Dick decided to
start PIMP3.COM, the alternative way
to sell your band's music. |

In the late 70's, early 80's, Dick was a
well-known TV celebrity. His guest
appearances on shows like 'Starsky and Hutch'
led to this piece in TV guide, which
questioned the longevity of the PIMP
culture in the post-70's ghettos.

In the mid-seventies, as his popularity grew, Dick felt
the scrutinizing eye of the press on him harder than ever. He received
much grief from the black media who accussed him of "cutting
into the brother's action." Dick diffused the situation
by appearing on numerous episodes of the popular TV show
What's Happening as Shirley Hemphill's white boyfriend.
